Terms & Condtitions

To ensure your party/event is as magical as possible, please read carefully our terms & conditions which are a binding agreement between Limelight Entertainment and the customer.

Covid Safety Measures

  • The space must be large enough to incorporate social distancing at 1 meter plus between all guests and the performers (this may change in accordance to government advice). 

  • If parties can take place outdoors our usual terms and conditions requiring shelter must be adhered to and the space must be big enough to incorporate social distancing measures.

  • Please ensure that all hands are clean and sanitised prior to your booking. Your performer will sanitise their hands and any props prior to the visit. 

  • If any guest has been unwell or been in contact with someone displaying symptoms up to 2 weeks prior they will not be eligible to attend.

  • All guests must be aware of social distancing guidelines and must be mindful of boundaries to ensure everyone’s safety.

  • As we are following the government guidelines, if at any point between now and your event date the advice changes, we may have to make alternative arrangements for your booking. 

 

Confirmation of Booking

Your booking with Limelight Entertainment is only confirmed once your non-refundable deposit has been paid and the booking form has been received. The remaining balance will be due one week prior to the party. Failure to pay will result in the cancellation of your party.

 

Cancellation And Rescheduling

Should you cancel your party, we are unable to refund your deposit. If you are no longer able to hold your event on the booked date, we will do our upmost to reschedule your party to an alternative date.

Change Of Time

Limelight will attend your event at the time that is on the signed booking form. Should the time change (subject to availability), a new booking form must be signed and completed. Limelight will only attend an event at the times agreed prior to the booking.

 

Change of Performer

Limelight will book the performer requested and do our upmost to keep this but we do have the right to change the performer attending your party/event due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

Joint Parties

If you would like to book a joint party, please let us know upon booking. There is no additional charge. 

 

Travel Expenses

All party prices include travel expenses for a 20 mile radius (from St PE19 8AB). If your venue is further, there will be a charge of 30p per mile. 

Please let us know when booking the event if there is a safe place to park which is free of charge.  If parking is chargeable, this additional expense is paid by the client/customer on booking.

 

Please note: we do build in some additional time to allow for traffic, however we do not accept any responsibility for excessive delays incurred such as road accidents, extreme weather conditions and any other means beyond out control.

 

Believability

We appreciate that you may recognise our entertainers personally but we politely request that you do not mention this around the children. We are in an amazing business, of making dreams come true for children. When parents work with us, this enhances the most magical experience for your children. 

Event Conditions

If at any point our performer feels unsafe or threatened our performer will leave your party immediately and no refund will be offered. Please ensure the environment our performer is walking into is positive and safe. (Examples of threatening environment include swearing, children throwing objects at our performer, children hitting our performer, drunk and disorderly behavior, unsanitary working conditions, smoking in close proximity to our characters, rudeness or disrespect towards our character etc.) 

If the party is outdoors, please make sure that there is plenty of cool shade for the performer since they are wearing heavy costumes. The area must also be free of thorny bushes, mud, or standing water. Our characters will not be allowed to stay outside if there is even light rain. For this reason, you must have an inside location planned as a backup.

We care about the safety of your children and guests - there must be a responsible parent or adult present at all times to monitor and oversee all children. Our priority in entertaining your guests –our characters will not be able to discipline children who are misbehaving and will not be able to handle medical emergencies. Our performers and our company is not responsible for any injury or damages that may occur at your party.

 

Pictures & Video

You are more than welcome to take pictures and videos of all our characters. All we ask is that you credit us (Limelight Entertainment) and bear in mind that we are NOT associated with any big company or brand. We would LOVE to see your pictures and videos if you are happy to share them with us! 

 

Characters

We are in no way associated with any company, brand or licensed character nor do we claim to be. It is not our intention to violate any copyright law. We can only accept bookings off individuals who are aware of this. 

Teepee Bookings Only

 

Security Deposit

All bookings require a security deposit of £30. Any damage to the equipment will result in your security deposit being non-refundable - an invoice may be sent for any additional costs. The security deposit will be returned in full within 48 hours, once all goods have been checked.

Safety Instructions and Guide

When booking any of sleepover packages you, the hirer, will be responsible whilst hiring this equipment, and ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to any of the equipment provided. 

To do this please ensure all safety instructions and guides are followed including 

 

- Keep all naked flames away from the equipment 

- No smoking anywhere near the equipment

- No pets to be allowed on the equipment 

- Teepees must be assembled with clean hands

- Shoes must be removed before entering the teepees 

- No food or drink must be consumed inside the teepees

- No face paints/face masks/hair chalk to be worn inside the teepees

- It is your responsibility as the hirer to supervise and take a duty of care to all children using the teepees.

- It is the hirers responsibility to check they have enough space for the teepees

- No sharp instruments are allowed around or in the teepees 

- Teepees must not be sat or climbed on

- Children under 4 years old must be supervised around the equipment at all times 

- Although hypoallergenic mattresses, bedding and pillows are used Limelight Entertainment cannot be held responsible for any allergy issues during use. 

- Prices are subject to change but the price when booking will be honoured

- Accessories for the tents and pamper/sweet boxes may differ from the pictures on the website may be subject to change. 

 

By acknowledging the T&Cs on the booking form you hereby confirm that you have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions as listed above and agree to hire the equipment from Limelight Entertainment.
